Coming to a Close
So I've been getting a lot of pressure to write a blog, (yes I know it has been a while) I guess there is no time like the present though... Since summer is coming to a close, I feel it necessary to reflect on what a great summer it indeed has been. I mean really everyday here in Palm Springs feels like summer, but in fact the "vacation" ambiance of summer is fading quckily. I've begun working in my classroom again, going to trainings, and planning galore. I've hit sort of a road block this year with my room decorations, I know it sounds dumb but I'm used to being pretty creative and having virtually no problems in this department whatsoever. I think that this is coming from a lack of motivation or excitment for the year to begin. I'm hoping that the feeling will pass and the clouds will part and a great idea will just fall into my lap...maybe I should keep dreaming for that one! In the meantime I suppose I will just reminisce about my summer and pretend that it really isn't over just yet...

Relaxing poolside with a good book and dark tanning oil
Going to all the "good" classes at the gym in the morning
Trips to the PS Art Museum
Late night swims at the Walter-Fields residence on Sundays
The Sexy 6 Washington D.C. Excursion... so good to be back with my girls:)
The Trip to see Josh... Oh how great Chicago is!
Two weeks of complete boredom, loads of free stuff, and making new friends at Copernicus
A month back in t-town visiting family, friends, and everyone in between.

Partyin' it up with my PS crew

What a surprise a blog entry. Here's to the clouds parting!
I am sure that you will have no problem creating something wonderful, even if you don't have the motivation!!
We're happy to have you back! At least your break from blogging brought with it a chance to see you in person. Happy School Year!
Nice pictures, and nice glasses Matt!
